Facebook Fridays - Time to Like Five More

Facebook Fridays
If you are on Facebook, you most likely already have a personal Profile page, but if you have a business or product that you need to promote, you should have a Facebook Business Page. I am amazed at how many still haven’t setup up their Facebook Business or Fan Page yet. Whenever you do setup your page, you may want to consider adding a “Welcome Page” or a “Skin”, as my friend and assoicate, Cathy Bureau talked about in one of her recent posts called “Advanced Facebook Use - FREE “SKINS”.

Cathy takes us through Facebook 101, 201, 301, and 401 in her post above. I would highly recommend that you add that FREE Welcome page to your Facebook Business or Fan page to differentiate yourself and to promote your unique selling proposition to the consumers. After you setup your Facebook Business or Fan Page, you will need to build your Fan base. That is the purpose of our Facebook Fridays Group every Friday. I would encourage you to join and help us support other Active Rain members, who are looking to grow and to expand their businesses on Facebook.

I followed Cathy's tip on the FB Skin - had mine completed and when I was done realized I'd created a landing page that would have cost me quite a bit of money each month. The basic package is the only one that is free. I learned the hard way. Back to the drawing board ( Pagemoto) :) Ha.

Yes, Karen. I don't keep up with all the discussions on FB as often as I can, but I do post often and check in on my friends. Now, getting more Fans to our Business Pages is always a challenge.
