Getting excited for the upcoming ski season

Yes it's time to start thinking about the upcoming ski season. Killington Vermont has already opened, Bretton woods Resort in Twin Mountain New Hampshire opens the day before Thanksgiving, Loon Mountain ( on turkey day) and Cannon Mountain in Franconia New Hampshire the day after Thanksgiving.

I took these shots eight months ago at Loon mt....time to wax the skis and get ready for the season.

.....From the top of Boom Run, where two new expert slopes were added for the 2011-2012 ski season.

....Also Boom Run - top of Rip Saw a double black diamond run...and just above the two new trails.

.... Looking down Angel Street on the East Basin side of Loon Mountain.

From North Peak Summit top of Walking Boss - Looking out at the Presidential Range in Northern NH.

From the West Basin Summit off Rum Runner looking over towards Mount Washington...See you at Loon Mt.

Steve OK I just have one question for you. Which one of the slopes are your skis going to be on first for the ski season?

George...Loon mt opened today 11/20/11 but I didn't ski - I'll wait till there is a little more snow on the ground before I put a good pair of skis on the crud that they open with.
