For over 90 years, the Aiken community has come together on Thanksgiving morning at 11am for the Blessing of the Hounds.   Walk into Hitchcock Woods and meet at Memorial Gate - a wonderful way to start your Thanksgiving day.

For the past two years, Aiken Land Conservancy has hosted 'Bagels and Bloodies' at The Aiken County Historical Museum - be sure to stop by ON YOUR WAY to the Blessing :) 

After the Blessing you can join your friends, family, neighbors, associates..... downtown in The Alley for Thanksgiving Dinner.  A free community event, and tradition for several years - One Table.  EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO COME FOR FREE THANKSGIVING DINNER! Everyone :)  Young, old, purple, green, tall, short, rich, poor, democrat, republican...it doesn't matter.  If you want to do something to 'give back', you can bring a canned food item to donate at the event.  For more info: One Table 2011
