I came across this article…it’s about Share This
They are starting a new rating index… it is mostly centered around social media…if it takes hold and becomes a new standard it will affect us all with our blogs, facebook and our websites. They will be keying in on:
Favors rich content and audience interaction over broad reach
Identifies users with higher purchase intent
Identifies audiences who are more likely to disseminate content widely
Knowing this and other things they will be keying in on (27 of them) should help agents with their marketing strategies related to their Website, Facebook, ActiveRain etc.
The media button icons used on websites should include at a minimum: Share This, Facebook, Twitter, Linkden, Google Plus and an email icon…. The reason why is they will track not just their Share This icon clicks but aggregate all the others into it. Bottom line is you should incorporate all those icons in your email, newsletters, campaigns, websites and everywhere you can.
I can literally see SEO, keywords, meta tags, descriptions changing before my eyes. Google will buy them out or pay for their data. They will most likely roll this data into their “Search Engine”. If KW agents are ahead of the curve on this they will have an edge on the competition.
