Has ActiveRain Mixed Up My Subscribers?

I love seeing that subscriber list go up and when I hit another notch I try and send a little email thanking them. Although, this past weekend I have noticed a few more subscribers and yet when I click on the statistics on the left side bar of my home page I don't see any new ones listed there. That list typically shows the most recent subscriber to your blog and now it seems they have been thrown into the list anywhere. I don't know who's new and who's not.

Anyone else have this issue?

To all my subscribers and especially new ones, I want to say THANK YOU for your subscription! I really appreciate it and hope I can give you all interesting enough information in the future!!

Tammy, I think ours is still in order, but it's happened before, or people get dropped without requesting unsubscribe. I'm always concerned I may have "lost" someone without realizing it.

Mine is in order when I see Page 1 but when I click to see subsequent pages my subscribers get reordered. I've clicked on pages and seen the same person on 3 different pages.

Tammy, My biggest concern has been the dropped subscribers. Several times I have seen a post from someone in the blog roll and then realized that I had subscribed to them but they are no longer on my list.

Yes - Yepper - Indeed having the same problem. I added several over the past week and I have no clue where they are. I see one new one and the rest are well .............lost. If you figure this out please let me know. I hate to connect then loose track right off the bat with new friends.

Oh yes I've had that issue many times. I think someone wrote once that it in the order of the last comment. I'm not sure if that is true or not. But, I know many others have had this same issue.

I haven't had any problems with the list itself, but it would be nice if it were organized in some fashion or if we could download it into Excel so we could organize it.

Tammy: I, too, have been unhappy with the way the Subscribers List is all jumbled up for quite a while.

If you look at your list of Associates... clicking on in at the top of your Profile Page... they are all listed by date... from the first person who Associated with you... down to the latest one. ALL IN ORDER.

That way, I can keep track of who is new. I like that.

WHY can't the Subscribers List be worked the same way ? I know it would not take much for Active Rain to just write another algorithm, or code, or whatever, and it would all be in order.

I would really like to send a "thank you" email to my new subscribers... but I have NO WAY of knowing who they are, and WHEN they subscribed.

The first page of Subscribers is kinda/sorta in order... but very often someone tells me they have subscribed... and IF I can find them... there are hidden away on page eight, rather than right at the top of the first page where they should be.

Active Rain can spend all this time doing the high-techy stuff, but they can't take care of a little thing like putting the Subscribers in order.

Tammy... honestly... it really TICKS me off ! I thought I was the only one it bothered... so I am glad to see that it bothers you, as well. Thanks so much for this post !

Thanks for chiming in Karen! Yes, its good to know we're not alone! It's been doing find until just this past couple week! I typically do send something to them yet the number increased and the list didn't change :( so sad.. YES AR should do something about this! They certainly could! - (Just like me getting 65 notifications over night from comments I have received but missed the last month! SHEESH.. so sorry if I didn't see this earlier!

Well, now the Subscribers' list is gone all together - or at least I cannot find it. I went to write my "thank-you notes" and can't find it anywhere! Oh well, blame it on the dog AR staff!

Lynn: For a list of your subscribers... go to your Profile page, and a bit under your picture on the left side... click on the word/link "traffic."

It will open up to a page showing all of your posts, and the number of comments, clicks and views. At the top you will see the word "subscribers." Click on it, and there is your ever-so-cleverly-hidden list of subscribers.

And... of course... you have a happy day, as well...
