Second Annual Turkey Trot, Pine Knoll Shores, NC 28512

The Second Annual Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot will be hosted by the Parks and Recreation Committee beginning On Thanksgiving Day, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at McNeil Park on Oakleaf Drive. Everyone is invited to participate, and get this.... There is no registration fee!  The Turkey Trot is your chance to get out of the house and walk, jog, run or bike to work off a few extra calories & get that metabolism moving before you stuff yourself full of Turkey, Stuffing, Pecan Pie and all the other fixins that come with this most wonderful Holiday!  Oh, and the pets are invited too.... Just remember their safety by keeping them on a leash.  There will be pet watering stations along the walk.  And there may even be water for the Humans too.... 

Last year's Trot had around 100 participants and was lots of fun.  Again, the event is free of charge, and everyone can register on-site that morning... Easy Peasy!
