Thank you for the information on the inspection program.  It is good to know.

Another issue we all face is even after getting the inspection it is still hard to find a Florida homeowners insurance company writing new business here.

I wanted to pass along a new website I just used called The Home Insurance Buyers Guide.

It has 20 companies still writing new Florida homeowners insurance business in Lee County and 21 companies still writing new business in Charlotte County.

What I really liked about it though and thinking about your comment above is that the site is collecting actual bottom line premium costs (after mitigation discounts) that will help all of us figure out which company is really cheaper.

Anyway, I just wanted to pass thing along.
