El Mesquite Mexican GrillConsider me a huge fan of patronizing locally owned "mom and pop" restaurants and businesses.

Just recently I noticed a brand new restaurant open in Bonita Springs and I finally had the opportunity to stop in and have a bite to eat.  Sammy, the owner of El Mesquite came over to the table for a chat and I promised him the spot of first restaurant review on Life in Bonita Springs.

The restaurant is located on Old US 41 just north of West Terry Street.  Long time residents will remember that it use to be Nelson's Hardware store back in the day.

Chris, Good job and nice write up on the new restaurant  called El Mesquite. The balloons make it look quite festive.

Awe thanx, Brian.  Most people hate the Bait and Swith post.  This local business owner deserves every kudos he can get.  He's my hero just for putting his neck out there.
