The Lost Generation
Sounds like a movie being released for Thanksgiving, however, the term actually refers to recent college graduates under the age of 26.
Over the last ten years, the number of first time buyers has been falling. The number of renters has been increasing.
With a generation that is finding getting a job harder and accepting less pay despite rising prices, the housing market will suffer for years as a result.
The super committee of Congress failed to reach an agreement. Is it any wonder that the young just starting out feel discouraged.
We as a people need to say, enough!!!
We need fiscal responsibilty, and an aggressive approach to making our nation a more appealing place to establish jobs. The government does not create jobs.
However, it should not extinguish them by over regulation.
We need to help the Lost Generation feel as if they have been found.
