ActiveRain Member Appreciation Party - NAR Convention Vegas

Get ready for this years premier event at NAR's National Convention in Vegas!

Initially we were planning on sponsoring a booth at the Realtor expo, but in true Rainer style I decided to spend the booth sponsorship money on throwing a party instead.

The cocktail party will be hosted in my suite, pictured above, at the Palms Hotel.

The room can accommodate up to 75 people at a time, and I am hoping that every Rainer that wants to come will be able to fit. But in the event the interest in this party is greater than expected we will be offering up batches of invites in various blog posts leading up to the event.

~~This post being the first opportunity for an invite has only one condition; invites will go to the first 15 Rainer's to RSVP in the comments below.~~

It looks like we will be okay for room, so I removed the restriction on number of invites in this post for now. Just leave a comment below if you would like to come!

Details:

Party is by invite only. Each invitation will allow for the invited Rainer plus one guest.

Date: Wednesday November 14th

Time: 7pm or 8pm till late

Place: My suite at the Palms Hotel. "The Crib" is the name of the suite.

This post will become RSVP central, and I will be posting pictures of all confirmed attendees below.

Jonathan -what a perfect excuse to be in Vegas and I blew it. There are good hotel and suites in New York too. Hint, Hint. My graphic now says "zubrovka", which in Russian means a strong drink. This software is very smart.

Jonathan - great choice! I applaud having an Active Rain party instead of a booth at NAR. Unfortunately Tami and I won't be at NAR this year, though we will be at CRS in Hawaii in January - maybe you can make it there, too. You could meet Sally and Randy and lots of others....

Jeez, and to think I cancelled my convention registration and hotel reservations, and decided to go to Florida instead... Next time!

I will be there and would love to "make the scene". I just confirmed hotel and flight... low budget all of the way, but what do you expect for being just slightly after the last minute?

this is the very 1st NAR i will have ever missed. My daughter is getting married on Sunday. I did ask her to change the date, but she did not set the same priorities that I do...*I then called NAR, but they couldn't change it either.

I hope you will do it again next year when I'll be there.

Jonathan, dude, we did dinner with Sellsius at Inman Connect in San Francisco. I sat next to Matt and grilled him on his business model, as we brainstormed ways to monetize blogging... Say yes to me and my partner Guy Johnson (and possibly my genius software developer hubby, Ted Cohn). We rock at parties!!!

Well, I guess I am going to miss partying with you this time. When we partied in Manhattan, it was a good time for sure. I hope NAR is out in the New England area next year. Have fun in SIN CITY everyone! I've grown close to a bunch of realtors from here and myspace and I'm kinda glad I'm not going because of the possible "SIN" that could come about.

Good question.......Jon is away and is the one that made the reservations so I would imagine you can just ask to be directed to the "crib suite" and you should be good to go.

If that is not the case, we will let you all know. But I would imagine that will get you there. We'll be there :)

I really appreciate the effort that went into hosting the rowdy bunch that was at the party last night. We had a GREAT time... or at least I know that I did. It was a lot of fun getting together with people from all over the country that I had exchanged comments with.

WOW I had SO much fun last night! That was SOME PARTY!

Perfect mix of intelligent, opinionated, net-savvy business people - it doesn't get much better than that.

Did anyone else take pictures? I'd love to see links to pictures from the party...

There were a lot of photos taken, but I didn't bring my camera and refuse to take photos with my phone.

Can I make a request that we update the attendees photo list by making all of them have links to the person's page? I'm new here and wanted to say hello to some people I met, but I'm terrible with names. I would also love to see my pic up there, too!

Thanks again for a fantastic party! I had such a great time, everyone was great, and the headache the next day was worth it!

Jonathan, the AR party was seriously one of the highlights of the conference. Thank you for sponsoring it. Sorry we didn't chat, but thanks for that great picture of my partner's butt... Jonathan and crew - the party was EXCELLENT and meeting up with so many of the ARainers was def a high mark of the week in Vegas.

Networking like this is 'where it's at' and you guys are the leaders - as always.

It's always cool when you find out that people are as great in person as they are in their blogs; my personal belief is that you (A|R) attract such a class of professional, being that you 'attract' what you 'are' - and you folks are the pros.

Again, well done and solid for all of our businesses. Thanks for continuing to help agents everywhere focus on their core competencies and move forward toward their own individual goals for success!
