Get ready for this years premier event at NAR's National Convention in Vegas!
Initially we were planning on sponsoring a booth at the Realtor expo, but in true Rainer style I decided to spend the booth sponsorship money on throwing a party instead.
The cocktail party will be hosted in my suite, pictured above, at the Palms Hotel.
The room can accommodate up to 75 people at a time, and I am hoping that every Rainer that wants to come will be able to fit. But in the event the interest in this party is greater than expected we will be offering up batches of invites in various blog posts leading up to the event.
This post being the first opportunity for an invite has only one condition; invites will go to the first 15 Rainer's to RSVP in the comments below.
It looks like we will be okay for room, so I removed the restriction on number of invites in this post for now. Just leave a comment below if you would like to come!

Party is by invite only. Each invitation will allow for the invited Rainer plus one guest.
Date: Wednesday November 14th
Time: 7pm or 8pm till late
Place: My suite at the Palms Hotel. "The Crib" is the name of the suite.
This post will become RSVP central, and I will be posting pictures of all confirmed attendees below.
Jonathan, now I'm really disappointed that I'm not heading to Vegas and "The Crib" -- guess I'll have to wait for Inman in January to meet all you guys. Where will the party suite be then?
Jonathan... I would love to be a part of this first round. But unfortunately I will be with my nieces and nephews in Disney. I really had planned on attending since last year, but we planned this back in the spring. Can I send a cut out of myself? ;o) Have fun...
Actually, strike that. I just checked and it's a maybe. Tentatively I was going to be in Vegas but I have yet to confirm with the other party. Oh well... Sounds like my kind of shindig too...
Whoo hoo! For the love of God, don't leave my wife out. (though she may not attend... but I gotta say she's invited...) we really should count as one though...
I am sorry that I wont be coming to Las Vegas. But after seeing that suite,I am really sorry. I wish that I would be there. Hopefully,I will catch you all next time. Have fun.
Jonathan -what a perfect excuse to be in Vegas and I blew it. There are good hotel and suites in New York too. Hint, Hint. My graphic now says "zubrovka", which in Russian means a strong drink. This software is very smart.
Jonathan - great choice! I applaud having an Active Rain party instead of a booth at NAR. Unfortunately Tami and I won't be at NAR this year, though we will be at CRS in Hawaii in January - maybe you can make it there, too. You could meet Sally and Randy and lots of others....

Ooohh! Sorrry I can't attend, but I'm working through a closing that needs attention. I hope maybe you'll be at the CRS Sell-a-bration in Hawaii early in 2008..

Jonathan - I'll be at NAR and would have so loved to attend. I'll be at the CRS Inauguration and Awards Dinner dance. Could I arrive fashionably late in my evening gown and tiara around 11ish? I'm dying to see "The Crib"!
I would like to attend. I will be with my wife. I am sure John Walters will attend as well. I mite be late, due to Louisiana Realtors party is the same evening.
I will be there and would love to "make the scene". I just confirmed hotel and flight... low budget all of the way, but what do you expect for being just slightly after the last minute?
this is the very 1st NAR i will have ever missed. My daughter is getting married on Sunday. I did ask her to change the date, but she did not set the same priorities that I do...*I then called NAR, but they couldn't change it either.
I hope you will do it again next year when I'll be there.
I would love an invitation! Can you send one to me as well as to my broker at Realty Station? She just joined the group, and I need to get her blogging..... We will both arrive in Vegas on Monday evening, and are staying at Treasure Island.
