On Top of the World Looking Down on Creation

I was out in the foothills of Colorado this past week in Morrison and came across a cool home on top of a very large hill.

Suddenly that Carpenter’s song started playing over and over in my mind.

I think maybe these folks like their privacy because this home is so secluded from everything else around.  I wouldn’t want to be driving home in a snowstorm and have to climb this hill to get to my garage.  Their views on the other hand must be simply breath taking.

Belinda - You didn't go knock on the door and ask them if they were thinking about selling?   Of course I bet comps would be hard to find.

I know what you mean. We saw some this summer that we questioned HOW they got the machinery and materials there to build them. Helicopters?

Sussie,  The views from there would be incredible.

Rene,  So sorry.  It gets stuck and you can't shake it...

John,  It would be a little too remote for me.

Jim,  What was I thinking.  I should have sent Will up there to knock on their door.

Joni, Good point.  Hard to say how they hauled it all in.

I would love to be living on top of the hill. Now, I have an earworm that I won't be able to get rid of till next week. Thanks, Belinda. :)

I often thought that I wanted a home like that, but I think I would be unhappy in it. Too big, too expensive, too isolated.... I'm kind of a social guy.
