Feedback on Z57 - Website designers

By
Real Estate Agent with Samson Properties VA Lic # 0225101380

I currently have my website through Z57 and I'm looking to see if there is anything better out there for me and my team.  Would like to know if anybody has a good website provider or any feedback about Z57 - Good or bad would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Vince... if you know how to edit the html of your site use this in conjunction : www.statcounter.com

Its free and works great!  You'll be able to know how many hits etc that you get.

Built 2 sites for agents with Z57.  The customer service was terrible, and once the site is finished, the agents have very little ability to change anything.  They have to pay Z57 to make the changes.

email me off forum if you'd like more information on Point2.  Free, 15 pages, very customizable and flexible, great syndication of your listings.  They also have a 250 page version with drip email for about $50/mo.

I currently operate a z-57 site and could not be more pleased.  I have had it a while and do not remember the initial start up costs, but I recently upgraded.  I don't use the drip marketing they offer, but since I have re-vamped my site I have more than doubled my hits each month.  Have a question about SEO?  Call and talk to someone in their technical department.  The tech guys there help and assist more than any other company I have worked with.  Thanks to their SEO help I have saved money by spending my money with z-57.  My z-57 site produced 11 leads last month.  z-57 has revamped their marketing control center and their design pages.

If you can't tell, I have had a great experience with z-57.

I have never heard of Z57 but I use P2.  I got 10 leads within 3 weeks and recently closed on one of them.  But since then, I haven't had any new leads so not sure what to do about boosting that.  I keep blogging for google juice but it feels like I'm trying to climb a hill of sand.

Vincent,

I use Z57 and although it's a template site it really allows for a lot of customization www.sandynelsonrealestate.com

I paid $600 start up costs and pay $80 a month. I'm pleased with my leads, the drip marketing campaign and the visitor statistics. The customer service is not very satisfying. the guy I worked with doesn't follow through very well. All in all I receive a lot of positive comments from the visitors to my site. I'll definitely stick with it for now.

I also have a point2agent website that offers a lot, for no cost.

Vince,

I use the Point2 agent site and am very happy with it.  I have the professional version and have so far clsoed one sale through it and lately have received more and more buyer and seller leads.

The key is getting your site at the top of the search engines.  Whether its through the site you have now or another one that is what will get you more business.

 Good luck

Vincent,

How's Fredericksburg - it's been a while since I was there. I was stationed at The Basic School in the boonies at Quantico but Frederickburg was one of our favorite hangouts - the Rappahannock River was where we swam and drank many a beer. I would look at http://www.abovemls.com/ they are a little more expensive but I have to say I think their search the MLS and maps are the best in the business. I spoke with many visitors to my sites and have found that they are most interested  "when truly searching for homes" to use a site with the fastest MLS search and maps. Just my opinion. If you have any questions talk to Sean and tell him I sent you.

Vincent,

You might want to check out www.Alamode.com. I have a couple websites through them and I'm pretty happy with the product. They seem to have specials every so often so their prices very. Almode is also a template site but they have some nice flash templates (if you like that kind of thing) but z57 sites seem to be pretty common.

I have many sites and have used several others in the past... even "played" with building my own...

Used point 2 (no real results)

Alamode (looks good easy to use, no real leads...)

Z57 (not personally used but have first hand knowledge that they do work pretty good, not great but OK)

Success sites/craig proctor (ugly and expensive but do get great results...)

Now use web agent solutions and LOVE them... best real estate investment I ever made... have both branded and unbranded and get leads daily... most very good, very few "mickey mouse" leads...

Give me a call and/or email and I can save you some expense if you are interested...

I have worked with Z-57 for over 2 years and love it. I recently compared at alot of other sites and  I stayed with Z-57 for my personnel website. It really helps to add listing to your web site, the leads do come in from the Trulia, Oddle and other sites that z-57 uses to market the listings.

I use www.CloseRealty.com,  templated sites.  So far I like them and it has been about a year. Price is good and no price per month if you buy it up front.  Goes down in price each year. They have analytic tools, help with SEO, and seem to be always improving something. A few agents have the z57 sies.  Not sure how they do, but they have been using them for several years.

I am partial to AgentImage:  www.agentimage.com.  Even though the process is template-driven, I was able to add my own pages and preferences and the price was pretty reasonable.

I personally have TWO Z-57 sites.  My two sites with them, www.FirstCoastRE.com and www.Short-Sale-Specialists.com, are quiet possibly the two largest and highest trafficed of all Z-57 websites.

I have around 15 websites total at the time.  First and foremost, Z-57 has the best customer service in the industry hands down.  I have half a dozen sites with point2, and also with resionline and Diverse Solutions as well.  NONE compare to z-57 in customer service, period.

The Z-57 sites are basically set up to be "hands off", where you can literally do little or no work to set up or maintain the site if you choose.  They have all of the basic things an agents needs right there.  The site is VERY customizable, as you guys see from my www.Short-Sale-Specialists.com site, it doesn't even sell properties on there!  My other main Jacksonville Real Estate site is also over 600 content pages!!

They have also done alot of custom work for me over time.  This Flash Map: www.firstcoastre.com/professional565.shtml only costs me $250 to have developed.  Resionline quoted me $2,000 for one like this...

I've been with them 3-4 years now.  Best customer service in the industry, and even though their site is "basic", its fair at $500 (or whatever it costs now) and can be customized to be as good as the best sites out there.  By the way, BOTH of my sites are tops in the search engines and get very high traffic!

I actually work for Agent Advantage, we are powered by Homes.com. I hear horror stories about z57 victums all day..bland sites and horrible service. I would advise against doing business with any company who's name sounds like a planet from Star Trek. If anyone is looking for a better website with virtualy any capability imaginable, go ahead and review Agent Advantage. We link your site to Homes.com and 35 additional portals, no need to spend thousands on SEO. Feel free to email me if you would like more info. Sign up through me and i will set it up for free!

I had a Z57 site for two years.  Never got a qualified lead.  They promise the world. Give you 'marketing advice' like 'put your website address on your business card".  Genius.  They now have a Z57 Academy and you get a specialist who tells you how to market your website on Craigs List. BFD.  And when you want to cancel your site you have to argue with an account manager for 30 minutes and they then charge you an additional 30 days, even though the site dies immediately!  I hate these people, they employ a bunch of used car sales people.
