 Island Cafe, answer to Where is it Wednesday...somewhere in Portland, OR 11/23/11

 This week, I'm going to do it a little different. I'm going to re-visit a previous WIIW place..so if you've been following this series for a while, then you might have an idea. Today, my hubby and I are doing something special with something that is in this picture .

Congrats to Kat Palmiotti for correctly guessing my last Where is it Wednesday  titled Clackamette Park, answer to Where is it Wednesday, somewhere in Oregon City 11/16/11. Each week I'll be posting a new picture on Wednesday morning(ish). The title of the blog will have the City where the picture is taken and I'll post the answer Wednesday evening...not only here on my blog, but on facebook business page (please click like and add yourself there) as well as tweetin it on my Twitter page. Remember, you're free to google or use whatever there is on hand.

 Do you know where it is? Care to guess? Comments are welcome! I'll post the answer tonight.

 Hint, The place I took this picture from last spring, and blogged about is now closed up for the winter and will re-open come spring to kick off another wonderful summer season.

So, this morning my hubby and I purchased a floating home on the Columbia River. We might be crazy, but we both love the water and last summer we spent some time on it in our boat....so here you have it. This picture was taken from the Island Cafe that is right across the river from our new home. Now..it does need some sprucing as it was vacant for a bit...but I like to think that it was waiting for us. Now, we can listen to the live music that's often at the Island Cafe from our deck..or hop in a dingy and go over and check it out up close. I can't wait until next summer!!! Oh..and I thought this was a WIIW..but it wasn't..so sorry about that!
