Happy Thanksgiving from King of the House Home Inspection

By
Home Inspector with King of the House Home Inspection, Inc. Home Inspector Lic #207

On behalf of the King of the House staff, I would like to wish all of my Active Rain friends, and my associates in Bellingham, a great Thanksgiving and a holiday season. I was reading an editorial today, in the newspaper, that claims that the period we are going through as a nation, right now, only compares in misery to, in order, the Civil War, the Great Depression and WWII as far as national gloom. It stated that the "true" unemployment rate is 17% -- taking into account those collecting unemployment, those who have been dropped from the rolls because their benefits ran out, and those who have given up or have settled for minimum wage, part-time work. Wow, 17% is getting mighty close to 1/5 of the population!

I hope that everyone out there in Active Rain land is battling the tide of gloom and that each of us is doing what we can to improve the economic situation  by working hard and keeping our businesses strong, in spite of some curve balls that might be thrown our way.

Below is Nutsy, internationally acclaimed certifried home inspector assistant, modeling his famous turkey outfit. It is amazingly realistic and I hope it lifts your spirits.

Boss, I was away for Thanksgiving so am a little late sending holiday greetings. So glad to hear Nutsy was (finally) your main course. Smart of you to fatten him up before sticking him on the spit.
