Shopping Large! Shopping Small! Shopping America!

Today is my shopping day.....

Today I am shopping on Small Business Saturday. I am going to four towns today because I have a BPO to complete. And, I will stop in each town to shop in a local craft or antique shop to get my Christmas shopping DONE...DONE. I like the sound of that.

Then, I can enjoy the holidays knowing that I have shopped local and American. Even my gift wrap is made in America!

And, when I have done my part of the $3 billion that will be spent during the holiday season this year, I can turn my attention to the gifts that I give from my heart and kitchen.

Oh, how I love to bake and make candy at this time of year. And, it is so easy, and since nearly everyone eats, it is something they can enjoy, and they won't have to dust, store or move!

Isn't this the best way to show someone you truly care about them.

So, dust off that wallet or billfold, and get out there and shop Small Business Saturday, and remember to buy American. It can make a difference! Especially if everyone does their part.

I totally agree with your comments. I am fortunate to live and work in a beautiful small town called St Michaels on the Eastern Shore of Maryland which is full of small craft shops. December 3 is MIDNIGHT MADNESS when the shops give away raffle tickets with purchases and stay open until midnight. The fun continues when the winning tickets are drawn.
