My wife and I once spent four days doing nothing but photographing Covered Bridges in Pennsylvania. You pictures are wonderful!
David, that is great. How many different covered bridges did you photograph. I believe there are currently 27 covered bridges. One or two are on private property. As you can see, I have only photographed 9 of them so far, but hope to get several more in before the snow flies and then maybe a few after the snow flies. I have become a great lover of these bridges and hope we can find a way to keep them and maintain them. The fact that we have so many in Lancaster County is simply amazing. they are very distinct your covered bridges in your Lancaster area, we have no covered bridges at all anywhere in our province, thanks for sharing them with us.

I agree these structures are treasures and far more common in your area. We've visited one in our neck of the woods that is part of a park. This is a great series you are creating.

This area is so chock full of wonderfull covered bridges....we should put together a tour from you area to mine...
