Another Gorgeous Holiday in Phoenix Arizona!
Thanksgiving 2011 was as lovely as it could possible be! We invited some of our closest friends and a few new friends/clients to a lovely sit-down Thanksgiving Feast in our 'French Chateau Alcove". Every year at this time we create an enchanting picturesque entertaining space that we use for dinners and champagne tastings. At thanksgiving the alcove patio is decorated 'just a bit' but.....tomorrow we'll pull out all the stops and get it ready for Christmas parties. It's beyond magical!
Everybody enjoyed our lovely turkey and ham dinner along with all the other normal regular Thanksgiving goodies. Good friends, good food, good wine - Life is good! Everybody bought their specialty food dish this year so it made it so easy for me and my husband. That part I like - a lot, it's going to be my new tradition!
The day after Thanksgiving our dear friends that were visiting from out of town and my husband and I enjoyed a lovely brunch and then took in a wonderful movie "Midnight in Paris". If you haven't seen the movie be sure to go or rent it. It was the perfect holiday movie. Our friend Deborah lived in Paris for years so listening to her excitement about seeing all her familiar places was delightful. She was like a little kid in a candy shop!
Today we all slept in again - ahhhhhh - such luxury! Again we treated them to a fabulous new outdoor patio brunch with the most incredible breakfasts in all of Phoenix. And I kid you not - it's an amazing restaurant - Timo's on Central Ave, North of Northern! I'll be sure to write more about Timo's on another day and take pictures so you'll know where to enjoy a lovely brunch on the weekends while you're in Phoenix!
It's now time to start the Christmas Decorating! Can't wait to share pictures as we go all out at our home!
I hope that you enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday - and had some time
to relax and apreciate all the good in your life. Bless you!
