23 Comments on 2nd Annual Winter Wonderland Celebration in El Segundo,CA
Endre, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The Winter Wonderland in El Segundo, CA sounds like a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit. And, I'm sure, it's the only snow you'll actually see, unless it's on TV, LOL.
Hi Endre -- despite our weather, the magic of Southern California can and does create a magic that is unparalled anywhere else. Thanks for spreading the word.
Hi, Endre -- good localism post. I hope you will have a great holiday season. Eric ^0-0^
Liz & Bill most people are not used to it, it is about 50-55 degrees at night and when the artificial snow is made just like skying
Juli, I am perfectly comfortable seeing it on TV, I have lived thru the Blizzards on the east coast. I drove from NYC to Boston during the Blizzard of the Century:)) so I like my 70+ degree weather:)))
Michael nice to know I am preaching to the choir:))
Eric thank you for stopping by, you have a great Holiday Season as well:)
The outdoor winter celebration in El Segundo sounds like a great holiday event. High School students these days have so much talent!
Endre, weather looks great over there! I'm a bit jealous, happy holidays!
Sharon you are absolutely right Youth Orchestras are quite phenomenal
Will, it was in the high 70's low 80's yesterday:)) happy holidays to you too!
Endre, it sounds like a terrific event. I love bands, and this one sounds special. And, all the other great activities make it sound really special.
HA! Huntsville is doing the snow thing this year, too! I hope that I get to go and capture some photos of it!
We even have snow at some of our events here in mid Florida, Endre. Isn't it amazing what they can do these days :)
Wow! With SNOW! That is cool to see. I hope you will post some photos.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving weekend!
Endre, I had to wonder what this winter wonderland in SoCal was all about! Sounds like a whole lot of fun for the whole family! Make sure to wear your mittens! :-)
Endre -- Palm trees and Christmas.......makes me feel right at home! Love that photo!!!
Endre, I've got to admit that the photo above doesn't look like much of a winter wonderland...we actually had snow here a couple days ago.
Hi Endre, I've been away from AR for awhile and finally getting back to it! Looks like your community is already in the swing of the holiday season!
Suzanne I love bands and classical music, lot of fun especially around the Winter season:))
Joni, that would be grand! I have all of a sudden become quite busy hardly have time to comment or blog:)
Toni I am so with you, I remember writing offers on top of my hood (2pages) now zip forms and never see the clients:)) yes artificial snow in warm climates fun fun:))
Endre, I thought more about this. If you are going.....would it be against their policy to tape a bit of the concert, and YouTube it for us? Just curious.
Suzanne you are funny, I am still in the "Stone Ages" how would I record it with my Black Berry World Edition that does not even have a camera:))
