Introducing Three Newbies to  the ActiveRain Community:

Let me begin by introducing Melanie Scott of Newton Massachusetts. Melanie joined our community in November 2011 and has only written a single post to date. Her area of expertise is Equestrian Properties, new construction and luxury homes. She has been a Realtor for 12 years.

Next on my list of three new ActiveRainers are twin brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott. Jonathan is a contractor and Drew is a real estate expert. What makes them unusual is that these two brothers  work together with casting director Irada Seli for HGTV! The brothers call their business Property Brothers and they are the ones in charge of renovating homes for HGTV which is currently working in Texas! They add $10,000 to the renovation budget and, well I think we have all seen the magic that happens on HGTV!

The final selection for this group of Newbies is Cheryl Dickson of Grand Junction Colorado. I had already read a few of Cheryl's posts before finding this contest and like her style. She is with Affordable Inspections ASAP and has some good information. If there is one thing that I love to learn from, it is a well written blog with information about the things that home inspectors find!

Newbies, I joined ActiveRain in 2007 and while I did drop off the face of the earth for a few months during some personal difficulties, I am back and I blog DAILY. This is part of my marketing plan, part of what I do first thing in the morning, an integral part of my day. IT WORKS! Most of my leads come from two sources: my ActiveRain blog (I also have four outside blogs that are fed off of my ActiveRain blog) and referrals from previous clients that found me through my ActiveRain blogs.

Did it take time to build it up? You bet it did! Is it worth it? You be the judge: 2011 is going to be my BEST year EVER since I got into this business back in 2005. I think that says it all!
