Gary,

Waterfalls are so soothing and wonderful to look at.  When I think of waterfalls in the US, I always think of Utah, they have some magnificent ones. Thanks for the lovely shot, A

Charlie, Thank you.  I've always liked the waterfalls in North Carolina so I will be looking forward to you photos.

Paul,  Thank you.  I'm glad that you enjoyed the 'treat".

John, Thank you.  It was beautiful scenery.  I hope your week is great too.

Maria,  Thank you.  I took that photo in August in the Uinta wilderness area close to the border of Wyoming and Utah.

Ron & Alexandra,  Thank you.  I always like to look at them.  And guess what -- this one was just across the border so it was in Utah.

Laura,  Thank you.  I'm glad that you liked it.  I hope your day is wonderful.

Melissa,  Thank you.  It is fun being able to share with everyone on AR.

Myrl, Thank you.  This lil' one is just across the border from Wyoming in the Uinta wilderness area in Utah.

This just goes to prove that you don't have to travel thousands of miles to see beautiful spots right here in the USA.  There's nothing more relaxing than a waterfall.  Thanks for sharing.

Terri, You're right it does.  Thanks for stopping by.

Sharon, Thank you.  Sometimes I think the little ones are more fun to look at than the great big ones.

Michele, Thank you. I'm glad that you like it.  I hope you have a great week too.

Doug, There definitely are some great spots in the US -- although this one does take a little travel.  it is about 8 hours on horseback from the nearest road.

Debbie, Thank you. That water did look inviting.  I had stopped to fill our canteens and was really tempted to wade in that stream.

J, I took this photo in August and it was at about the 12000 ft altitude. The day time temp was in the 50s and at night just above freezing.  The stream originated about half a mile from the falls and came from ice and snow. It was cold. The source is the Uinta Mountains and it feeds into Blacks Fork, then into the Green River, then into the Colorado and finally into the Gulf of California.

Wendy, Thank you. It was inviting and I enjoyed sitting and watching the water.

Michael, Thank you. The water was beyond cool -- it was really cold.
