First Criminal Case Filed On Robo-Signing
First criminal case filed on robo signing in Navada. The two indicted are Orange County residents in the scandal.
Gary Trafford and Geraldine "Gerri" Sheppard have been asked to surender to authorities by the Nevada Attorney General's Office. Bail is set at $500,000 per person.
Both are title officers who worked for the Jacksonville, Florida mortgage servicing firm Lender Processing Services.
The indictment accuses them of directring employees to file "tens of thousands" of default notices on Clark County, Nevada, homes that contained forged signatures that had been fraudulently notarized.
This is still a mess. The foreclosure of so many people have been tainted by these two individuals.
