It’s Cyber Monday!! How Am I Supposed to Fit My AR Blogging/Commenting Time Into My Cyber-Shopping?? (and a helpful tool for those of you who shop online!)
It’s Monday... we’ve all survived Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Hopefully
you used Saturday and Sunday to gear up for today....... Cyber Monday!!!
I marvel at how our Retail and Marketing Gurus were able to take what only 5 or 6 years ago was the Monday after the long Thanksgiving weekend and turn it into one of the highest spending day of the year.
Personally, I love being able to sit in my own home, in my pajamas or whatever I choose, and shop. I love not having to be at the mall just before it opens so I can get a decent parking spot.
I also love being able to decide if I like something without having a sales clerk standing there looking at me with that face that says “Are you buying this or not, lady... I’ve got others to help?”
And, unfortunately because of our times, I like shopping where while I have to be vigilant about Cyber criminals... I don’t have to worry about being mugged as I walk to my car with my packages.

For those of you who do shop online I’ve used Citibank’s Virtual Account Numbers for years. All you need is a Citibank card. When you're ready to check out, you generate a one-time- use only number. You can download free software, or if you’re not at your computer, you can get one from the Citicard website.
Whatever security tool you use, just be careful even when you’re shopping online.
Oh and, yes.... I still shop in real stores on Christmas Eve. I wouldn’t miss it for anything!
