Cyber Monday Doesn't Mean you Get All Your Deals Online

We're in the heart of the Holiday Buying season, and today is the day for shopping online for those special Internet only deals. As if you couldn't go into any retailer with similar, pull out a print out of an Internet deal, and see how quickly the manager is over there to try and accommodate you some how.

As I opened my emails this morning, I was faced with my own type of Cyber Monday deal. An offer for one of my listings, that was not only incomplete, but was 25% less than asking with an additional listing of items that the buyers would like the seller to leave behind.

Well, it might be Cyber Monday, and unlike that character 'Crazy Eddie' the appliance and electronic that ruled the New York air waves back in the 1970's, this isn't going to happen this way.

If agents want their client's offers to be considered seriously, then make sure it's completed properly, and that you do your homework and complete the paperwork properly before you send it over.

Wouldn't that be a great gift Ed? Incomplete offers are a sign that even the Buyer agent doesn't believe in it!

Good advice Ed! And I will not be shopping online today but will instead ensure that I see my completed paperwork is submitted and received by the other parties to get to closing. It's going to be a great week and shopping will have to wait unless it is home shopping...!

Ed, I can't tell you how many times I've received offers on my listings with blank spaces or inaccurate info,  it just drives me up a wall...I can understand a low ball offer and deal with that, but incomplete paper work is just lazy and unprofessional

Good morning Ed;  some agents are just lazy, but hey, it's something to work on.  Now you need to crank it up a notch and get that offer up to Parr.

Hello Ed ~  This type of agent drives me up a wall.  What kind of service are they giving the clients?  NONE in my opinion and it makes it harder for us that do the work properly to un-train buyers that have been with agents that  haven't educated them on how to buy a home and get the deal they want.

Ed - I remember Crazy Eddy, "I'm so crazy, I'm giving it all away..."!  No, you won't see many sellers doing that even in desperate times.
