Sand on the Beach and Bikini Bar are really one business...with a split personality. The first floor is Sand on the Beach...a direct oceanfront bar and grill that is mostly restaurant...and caters to families, senors, couples on a date or just a friendly meeting place. The menu consists of salads, burgers, sandwiches, a nice selection of fish (the Mahi Mahi sandwich rocks), steaks and chicken options. They also serve a very good breakfast along with lunch and dinner.
The food is good...the crowd seems to always be friendly (well...they are sitting on the beach watching the waves roll in)...and the wait staff is quite good.
Upstairs is Bikini Bar...it is mostly bar but does offer the same food from downstairs. You can eat at the bar or on the counter that runs along the outside terrace. I like to sit on the terrace when I come...you will have great views of the beach, good food and a very relaxed atmosphere. They also have a happy hour that runs daily from 5-7pm.
The best thing I can say about Sand on the Beach/Bikini bar is I always come home with a smile on my face!
