Question: How Many Listings Should a REALTOR® Attempt to Service?

Answer: That depends on two factors:

  • If the primary focus is on making as much money as possible, the sky is the limit.  Just list it, and some agent is likely to sell it for you, providing it is priced competitively.  The more you list, the more you earn, and the more likely you are to become a “Top Producer.”
  • If the primary focus is providing superior service to all clients, the number should be no more than that REALTOR® is able and willing to service properly.

Personally, I am not interested in trying to juggle dozens of listings.  I can service my clients best when I have sufficient time and energy to exceed the expectations of every one of my sellersMy goal is to maximize the selling price; and minimize the listing, and closing time frames for every one of my listing clients.  If I took on too many listings, someone would get slighted.
