Milton MA Market Report for October 2011
For the period October 1, 2011 through October 31, 2011 there were 21 single family homes sold in Milton MA. That number seemed much higher than the numbers for Canton Home Sales for October 2011 and for Stoughton Home Sales for October 2011 so I wanted to see how it compared to previous years for Milton.
I searched back to 2006 and found that October 2011 had the second highest number of homes sales, with the first being October 2009 with 24 sales.
The sales numbers indicate that Milton remains to be a town where people want to buy a home. But how did the prices compare year to year?
While not as strong as the past few years, the October 2011 median home price in Milton MA still exceeds the median for 2006 and 2007. There are still some historically good prices out there but homes are selling in Milton MA so buyers should take advantage if they see something they like in their price range.
