Gourmelt Reno

If you haven't heard the lunch truck has evolved from the gross greasy food that normally comes off trucks often called"Roach Coach". These lunch trucks are becoming popular all over the country.

Reno is no exception. My favorite at the moment is the GourMelt lunch truck. The truck is run by two lovely women that are super friendly. They cook and serve up gourmet grilled cheese at various locations around town. The truck is bright yellow and is hard to miss so if you see it driving around lunch time follow it. Today I had the weekly special. Smoked Gouda, spicy Italian sausage, sun-dried tomatoes & sautéed mushrooms on sourdough, just with out the mushrooms. I had sweet potato fries as the side for $1 extra. Parmesan fies and soup are also available. These are not the average grilled cheese sandwiches and I have not had anything I didn't like off the truck. You can check out the menu and where the truck will be parked next at www.gourmeltreno.com

I have thought about stopping for a "roach coach" every now or then for lunch, LOL!  Wish we had a GourMelt here!

Catherine check thier web site for where they will be at. You can also request them to come to your location. Might be good for your next office meeting.
