Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival Tickets On Sale December 1st

Love bluegrass music? Then December 1st at 10 a.m. needs to be highlighted on your calendar! Tickets for the March 30-31, 2012 go on sale for Wilmington Ohio's Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival to be held at the Roberts Centre (123 Gano Road, west side of US Rt 68 interchange of I-71)!

The Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival is EASILY the top area bluegrass show!

So who's performing this year?

Friday March 30th (1 p.m. - 9:45 p.m. starts, * groups perform twice):

*Joe Mullins & The Radio Ramblers

*David Davis & The Warrior River Boys

*Nothin' Fancy

Paul Williams & The Victory Trio

Del McCoury Band

Saturday March 31st (12- 9:15 p.m starts, * groups perform twice):

*Moron Brothers

*Kenny & Amanda Smith Band

Paul Williams & The Victory Trio

*The Boxcars

*Larry Sparks & The Lonesome Ramblers

Cost:

At the door, 2 Day General Admission $60, but an extra $5 gets reserved seating

Friday or Saturday General Admission is $35. General Admission Seating for Children 16 and under is free.

Pat, We've been with some friends a couple of times and it's enjoyable. The performers hang out and talk with the fans after their sets, autograph the CDs they have for sale, etc. They do a show in spring and another in fall, both with some of the biggest names in the business.

Tish, Travel Day! Started in Maryland and didn't get a post in before meeting family for breakfast out at 10, then left a bit before 1 p.m,, back home in Ohio around 8:30 and then a few things to do before I could invest any time in AR :)

Endre, We enjoy it a bit. The centre is indoors, so comfortable, but not sure we'll make this one.

Bliz what a cool event this is! I had no clue what Bluegrass was till my wife introduced it to me. It's really cool and she even showed me how to buck-dance to the tunes she grew up with in Alabama. If we were closer I can assure you we'd be taking in the Southern Ohio Indoor Music Festival.

John, I can't always understand the singing (true in any case, musicals or bluegrass), but I do enjoy the instrumental portions. My family listened to old school country growing up, to bluegrass isn't that far removed from that. Bill

Amy, There's quite the variety, and if you drop a 30-40 mile arc around the center of Warren County, you can capture a wide variety of locations and styles. Whether Cirque du Soleil to the south, or bluegrass to the north, we've got something for everyone if you know where to look :)
