Special offer

Too little time - so MUCH to do..

By
Real Estate Agent with 1

Dear_santa I am writting this letter to you in confirmation that Christmas will still be held on the 25th of this month.  I was wondering if you could lend me a hand?  There are so many things that still need to be done and I fear that my time is running short.

  • I have a few offers that need to be ironed out and get executed contracts before Christmas week.
  • I need to check my list and double check my list and see if the actual potential buyers do in fact qualify for the loans that they are requesting.
  • There are open houses that still need to be scheduled and hosted, because we all know that all the real buyers are out now and the ones who do attend the open houses in this busy time, will most likely buy a home - now.
  • I have some sellers that are in critical state: meaning they are so far behind in payments to the bank that I fear they will go into foreclosure if we don't sell in time.
  • I still need to prepare and run a training seminar in my office for agents.

In between all this I have my personal life, my kids, holiday parties, shopping, the ever so dreading wrapping and cooking (I don't bake - I gave that up years ago when my cookies were deemed a possible deadly weapon).

I know that I am busy and I know that my agents are busy
.  So I started to wonder - was it only us or were there actual business being conducted during this holiday rush.  Within the 11357 area there was quite a bit of transactions that occurred in a twelve day period of time.  There was 7 closed sales and 12 that have entered contract and are currently pending a closing.    Within the 12 days of December so far, there were 15 house listings that have expired, but 7 of those re-listed with other real estate company's and lowered the asking price.   There were a total of 22 homes with in the 12 days that have lowered their prices and out of the 22 properties there were reduced in price, 4 of them received an accepted offer.     The buyers are here, there is activity and the prices are coming down, just in time for Good Ole St. Nick!

'Hey NY Chic'

Love your letter. Is there really a Santa? LOL...

You've got some serious combo tasking happening in your life.

If it makes you feel any better we get slammed at Christmas too. Seems to be our busiest time of year here in Florida.

Although I am semi-retired I do remember ALL of THAT. Don't bang your head against a wall you might knock yourself out! LOL...

Looks like you have your plate full. Sounds like you could use a little time to sit back and catch up with yourself. A little prayer would not hurt either.  I only have to buy for my wife and I still haven't done that yet. Bah Humbug I don't like to shop!!!

NOT GOOD.  You can buy her perfume, get her gift cards ( I do like that because I can use them when I want for what I want - I might not want the 43 robe, ya know), The new Dyson vaccuum is cool.. Ohh wait I am giving you MY list... sorry.. JUST STAY AWAY From blenders!

Christine I hate to take this post back to the original point (I really, really do....and now that I've said that, I hope I am at one of the original points - see I'm already backstepping).

This is my fourth Holiday season as a Realtor®   While most of you are out with tons of clients in the summer, I am.....not lol. But let the temps get cold, and my clients climb out from under a ....er, my clients come out of the woodwork.  Good luck with all your stuff; I said 'uncle' and am just working!  Well, mostly!

'NY Chic aka Christine'....

Are you trying to get my attention? Don't you have to set the table for 50 people or something? LOL...

I have already offered to help George, but the gift has to come from him. I suggested he give his LW CASH. That's what Broker Bryant does with me. "Gimme the money". :)

Another Dare? Man! I just can't keep up the NY Chic! Hmmm. Let me wrap my head around this one. I am not ruling out the possibility I may be able to figure something out. Ya just never know. :)

I get back with ya on that one. TLW...ROAR!
