Shar - That living room would be a challenge to most. You really did create the optimum layout for such a challenging room. This is the beauty of home staging - being able to actually show potential home buyers how a room can be layed out. The whole house looks gorgeous - well done!
Another great staging - and 17 days, one happy seller! Have a lovely weekend.
Man some of the rooms can be tough Janice!
Thank you Sally. Using the love seat was key, then the armless chairs kept things open.
And one happy Realtor Lisa. LOL
Shar, there is no denying, you made a house a HOME! Now if I can only finish that "Whale Tale" you'll see what else I have to say about you. I've been busy with Christmas Decorations and designing Christmas cards.
Hi Shar--that really was a tough layout and the living room ceiling is very distracting. You did an amazing job of making the home feel welcoming. That's also obvious by the fact that it sold so quickly. Congratulations--another great job.
Woo Hoo is right!!! Staging saved this one from a very long shelf life!
"Designing" Christmas cards....see Ellen, most of us just go out and buy them. How cool! Other than that.....I cannot see why anything else is more important than the Whale Tale. :)
Thank you so much Janet, that ceiling is in the kitchen too! Love your new profile picture!!
I think so too Sharon. Thank you.
I'm not surprised, Shar. You're a fantastic stager who understands what it takes.
Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group, Staging Before and After Pictures.
Kathy
Beautiful job Shar! I'm still waiting for the announcement for your show on HGTV...!!
Thank you Kathy for your kind words and the feature.
Me too Tammy! What is up with that network?? ;)
Shar. Now that house was a challenge. You performed a minor miracle in the living room. I thought only corner fireplaces were a challenge! Good work.
Very nice, Shar! I love the armless chairs. The furniture placement looks perfect! No wonder the home sold so quickly. Congrats!
This fireplace was so close to the wall Valerie it was almost worse! Thanks!
It was a tough one Patsy. The armless chairs were a great option for that space to keep it open. Thank you!
I love what you did. You basically turned it into a model home, and we all love model homes! congratulations!
Good morning Shar,
Now that was a tough one and you did show how it could be decorated and removed the objections of the awkward floor plan! I came over from Roger's post..congratulations the gold star above your head is becoming :).
Thank you Eric. Model homes always look marvelous no matter what price level so I'm with you!
Thank you Dorie...I love getting that gold star above my head!
Hi Shar ~ Your furniture placement made perfect sense of that challenging space! No wonder this home sold so quickly!! The loveseat and two armless chairs created the perfect seating arrangement. Congrats on another successful staging!
Picked up this house of furniture yesterday Maureen. It closes tomorrow! Cash deal so it closed within 11 days of them receiving the offer. Good thing I was in town! LOL. Thanks for your kind words.
Congrats Shar you did a fantastic job with this house! Definitely a tough one! (The book Tiger's Curse-I think you will really like it)
This was re-blogged today, but I'm not sure how I missed it in December.............love what you did Shar, those rooms weren't easy.
