Merry Christmas

Client Christmas Card

This is a card creation for my Past Clients. I chose this example and the sentiment and photo as it represents to me the Magic of this Season as seen threw the Eyes of Children. We are all His children and no matter the age, the Magic, Love and Sharing once embraced as youngsters will be continued throughout our lives.

My past clients are the life blood of my business in both their continued support and the many referrals they provide me. My success in the real estate industry is because of these amazing people some of which have been with me my whole career. Many over the years they have become like family to me.

I have been particularly blessed this last couple years because I have worked through three generations of a family, not once but twice. They represent some of my proudest moments in real estate.

William--I sent out a snail mail postcard a few years ago to clients...this is an awesome idea and contest. Maybe over the weekend I will find time to participate. I so enjoy seeing what you do with your photos. Your sentiments are lovely as well!

The effect of having the holiday scene emerge from the darkness of the background provides a great mood.  The blue text on black reminds me of a webpage design I came up with a number of years ago.  One of the guys at the software development company where I worked, complained because couldn't read it. . .He was colorblind.  I told him that colorblind folks have an advantage because they can spot camouflage from helicopters flying above tree canopies in war zones.  But every once in awhile a dark background with blue text had to prevail.

William I like the message and the photo of the kids looking into the window!  There are many magical moments of the season that remain with us in our hearts.  Working with familys and generations are always a blessing, may you continue to be blessed, Merry Christmas!

Hi Bill, As I was creating this, reading the type was not difficult. When I posted it, it seems much duller and the blue doesn't stand out as well. If I were to print this, I would want to blue color to be a foil and then it would stand out.

Thank You Jennifer, I couldn't agree more. My past clients are all very personal to me and so many have been become personal friends. The thing that always strikes me about that is that I can't recall ever being asked to reduce my commission.

Hi Teri, Great idea. It is fun and really gets the creative juices going. One thing I learned is that I can do as good a job or better than the typical greeting cards. And with way more personal and meaningful messages.

Hi Myrl, If I were to have this card printed, I would want all the blue to be a blue foil and that would make the contrast so much better. But I do like the dramatic color contrast. The way the photo came out just calls for that bit difference in the black background.
