December's Season of Celebration & Sharing - Meet Santa Day and Toy Drive - Shelton CT

Santa Claus is coming to Shelton, CT on Saturday, December 3, at the Huntington Branch Library to support the Team Toys 4 Kids program.

Each child who visits with Santa on Meet Santa Day in Shelton (Huntington) is asked to bring an unwrapped NEW toy, book or donation to help less fortunate children in the area.

In addition to spreading good cheer, Santa Claus will be personally thanking the children for their donations and sharing with them how other children will be having gifts to open as a result of their kindness and generosity this holiday season.

At the Meet Santa Day and Toy Drive children will be entertained by Christmas story readings, caroling, sing-a-longs, as well a having some hot chocolate and cookies to munch on. They can also get a free photo with Santa.

This event is sponsored by the Echo Hose Ambulance and Pine Rock Park Volunteer Fire Co. 4 in support of the local toy drive.

Now this program sounds really good to me. Meet Santa and bring a toy for less fortunate children teaches the kids all about sharing and helping others who really need help. Thanks for spreading the word to your community.

I was very happy o hear from you that you are very busy and I hope you are making lots of cash this holiday season.

I spoke to soon in my blog yesterday as I got a Dear John Realtor E-mail timed at 2:00 AM from these folks stating they got confused(?) and agreed to use a different Realtor late yesterday for a rental home while thir new home is going to be built. The story the wife spun over all did not hang together very well. They had already told me over the phone I represented them. This has been my year for all types of pro-bono stuff as I seem to get all the folks who want good advice but want some other idiot Realtor get the commission.. maybe next year will be better..

That's neat. Get the little ones to understand that if they bring a gift to Santa for someone else, Santa will remember them with special stuff later in the month. Now if onky they don't get attached to whatever toy they bring

Barbara-Jo -- Thanks. This event really has a great message for the kids. Santa will be discussing how their kindness in donating a toy will help others less fortunate than they are.

Bob -- This meet and greet will also teach the kids as well. Sorry about losing your buyer. It happens to everyone and we just have to move on to help someone else. It all evens out, so you should have a great 2012!

Ed -- Yes, Christmas is certainly not all about receiving gifts.
