Being a native Texan I have spent many a holiday doing something decidedly Texan. We have visited Christmas Tree Farms and cut our own trees, worn shorts on Christmas and gone to South Padre Island to surf and fish, and scooped every fragment of snow in our yard to make a teeny two foot high snowman in Houston. To help the new Texas transplants I have compiled a number of fun things to do in Texas over the holidays. So if you need some excitement in your life, try one of these events for some good family fun.
