This past week in Battle Creek, Michigan we had our first big snowfall. I went out and took some photos when it was still fresh, and I wanted to share one that I really liked. It is a tree in my front yard that had snow beautifully placed on every branch, and it was early in the morning before the temperature rose enough to melt some of it away. I find looking at natures beauty to be refreshing, even though the cold days are tiresome at times. I hope you enjoy this photo.
Good Evening Michael:
Nice photo! I have a feelieng that New Mexico will be able to match or surpass Michigan in terms of the amount of snowfall received in the first snowall.
Michael: There is nothing quite like the first snowfall of Winter. Growing up in Northern Ohio, I remember the excitement it brought with it. Mother Nature is quite the Artist... and She does some of Her best work in the Winter. Enjoy.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

Excellent quote! We woke to find 1/2 inch of snow this morning...... such a wonderful delight for the ole dry desert!
Best regards from the Q
Hi Michael, Some of thos beautiful branches would make some awesome clsoe-ups. I haven't seen snow in a lot of years but I expect to be traveling back East in Jan. Then again it depends on my business load if I can get away for a few days.
