TR and ArwenThere was great cause for celebration here last week on the Kitsap County Peninsula in scenic Washington State!

1st Time Home Buyers, TR & Arwen, closed on their home in Port Orchard!

This was one of the most fun and rewarding transactions I've had the privilege of being involved in for quite some time!

TR & Arwen came over from Hawaii, under orders courtesy of the U.S. Navy. TR just recently made Chief Petty Officer, so it's been a very eventful month for both of them!

I first made contact with Arwen nearly a year ago. We exchanged e-mails, MySpace profiles, poked each other on Facebook, and kept in consistent contact throughout the entire process.

We were fortunate to find a really great home in Port Orchard WA. It had been recently remodeled - new paint, carpets, appliances, kitchen cabinets & counters, the perfect 'Man' room for TR, a fenced yard for the dogs, etc..  We were able to negotiate an extremely attractive contract with the Sellers, and close ahead of schedule without any difficulties.

 Jumping for Joy!

This is what being a licensed real estate professional is all about - helping valued clients to achieve their home buying and selling goals & dreams!

This transaction was the direct result of my involvement here on ActiveRain. While the vast majority of my business comes from past clients & referrals, with the current market conditions being what they are, it's wonderful having another source of potential clients, especially Buyers!

So thank you Bob Stewart, Matt Heaton, Jonathan Washburn, Ben Wiseley (the Code Monkey), and Caleb Mardini too, for everything you've done to make this such an incredible networking platform!

Not only are your efforts helping to make us better, more knowledgeable professionals, but you're helping us to connect with countless clients throughout the country, and enabling us to assist in realizing their dreams!

Indeed.  This unique platform is putting folks who give it a chance in the mainstream.

I've been on the Internet since June of 1995, but this is the most fun I've had advertising my real estate service since, well, ever.

It's a blast when you see happy folks and a home come together.  It's doubly rewarding when you see the benefits that we invest so much in like ActiveRain.

Sign my name to the THANK YOU! card too.

This is cool Rich, and the photograph on the bottom right says it all. That smile and that happiness is as good as it gets for any of us.

Lets hope we can get together before Reno in the Spring. If not, please take a day for here. Then we can plan the crab tour better. And get out on the boat here.

best
