Recently, I wrote a post about a hero who came to live in Scottsdale, Arizona, but later died from reconstructive surgery. Ryan Job was a Navy Seal who had been injured in Iraq and had come home blinded from his injuries. He was sponsored by my office in Scottsdale, Arizona. He also had an office at our main office in mid-Scottsdale. Ryan was often seen counting steps and being guided into the building by different agents. It was humbling to watch him.
It's just been announced that his reconstructive surgery and ensuing death from that surgery were due to hospital error. How absolutely tragic!
You may have read the previous blog, but if not you can catch up here.
With the sale of each home, donations are made to this fund to further assist those returning veterans who have been injured. The 4 year Scholarship Fund includes housing, assistance with education, and more. There are other chaptes around the US, but featured here is the Non Profit in Arizona.
We have new veterans, but I'll never forget Ryan, who was our first Sentinel. His courage is inspiring!
