The Palms at Wailea is a vacation rental complex with 150 apartments in 23 two-story buildings.  There is a central club house and pool area, and a front desk with very helpful staff.  It's a popular Maui resort on the south shore, with many visitors coming back year after year.  Though not oceanfront, it's only a short walk to Keawakapu Beach, one of Maui's finest sandy beaches.

I just came back from Maui and it's lovely there.  I spend a week at the Grand Wailea.  You can't go wrong in Wailea!
