Help Brenna Zettergren Bone Marrow Drive is both a drive to find donors and a fundraiser. I am asking those who are reading this blog, and who are within a reasonable distance of where this event will be held to consider attending and helping Brenna find a donor that could save her life.
Brenna was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when she was 3 years old. Doctors were able treat Brenna and this horrible disease went into remission, but it did not last long and has once again returned. Doctors have determined that in order for this beautiful little girl to survive, she will need to have a bone marrow transplant.
This event is being held in an effort to try to find a donor for Brenna, and to offset the cost to the National Marrow Donor Program.
The process involves a cheek swab and be added to the National Bone Marrow Registry. Participants need to be between the ages of 18-60. Below you will find a link to the National Bone Marrow Registry with more information.

Please consider joining us at the drive to help find a match for Brenna or someone else in need. I can't think of a better gift to give during this holiday season than the gift of life.
