Why aren't residential realtors making money by selling commercial R.E.?

Here's the thing.  I've just retired. I'm going to be 65 years shortly and I've decided I still want to work 4 hours a day.  It makes perfect sense to me that residential realtors could generate as much commission from selling commercial property as they can each year from selling homes.  Since the market is slow, now is the time to learn commercial real estate so when the residential market rebounds they'll be able to make money from both.

Further, for those who have sold homes over many years or had a great deal of success during the last few years, they have relationships wherein if the residential agent made a phone call to former clients, they might learn that some former clients want to invest in commercial real estate too.

I've been sending out letters to residential realtors telling them about my course, "conceptualizing commercial real estate." You can see an outline of the course by going to my website at http://www.commercialtoo.com/.  About 50% of the realtors I'm sending letters to are coming to the sight. Huge right!. I'm giving them the opportunity to attend a free class with no obligation to take another class or pay anything. Very few and I mean very few of them are taking me up on the opportunity.

Here's the question: Are residential realtors too intimidated by commercial real estate to try to learn it? Is the class length of 4 hours for each of the 5 classes too long?  I've only been at this about 12 days so perhaps I'm being too impatient.  But to me, if I was a residential realtor, I'd jump all over this opportunity.  Please take a look at the website and tell me what you think.  If you think the entire thing sucks, please tell me so and tell me why.  I need help. I may be damn good at finding a piece of commercial real estate wherein the owner has missed something important about the property that could increase its value dramatically.  I'm no genius when it comes to marketing this course though; matter of fact, I'm beginning to think I'm clueless.
