25 Comments on (Not So) Speechless Sunday in Bristol TN VA December 4, 2011 .....Color or Black & White....This One is Out-Of-Sight!
The color picture represnts the present and the B&W the past. Since we all wish barns could talk and tell their story, I am going to go with the B&W photo. Enjoy your day!
Barbara ...Me too .....Thanks!
Wayne ....Good choice ....Thanks!
I like both but I'm more partial to color unless I'm trying for melancholy or moodiness. Good picture either way, Rob.
Toni ....Thanks!
Good morning, Rob. I think that the B&W version would have been better had your subject not been so backlit...
Both are awesome, mindful of the season. If only that old barn wood could talk, can you imagine the stories to be told.

Rob, You can go wrong either way with this one, it's just a great photo! Have a nice day!
The black and white works for me Rob..........something very nostalgic about it. Best with the listing!
Rob - I've said this many time, but I'll say again - you've single put Bristol on the map through all your spectacular photos of the area you call home. Some day I'd love to visit - beautiful area and the barns are a bonus! Both pictures are simplistic beauty! Have a great Sunday!
Hi Rob. What a beautiful area that you live in, and you capture it wonderfully with your keen eye and camera! Have a great Sunday!
They are both great shots, but I think I like the color one a little better seeing the barns red color. Have a great Sunday in Bristol TN/VA!
Rob, I can't decide which one I like better! They are both really amazing shots of a great barn! Have a great Sunday!
Hi Rob - While the barn photos are great, the listing photo is fantastic. The porches are wonderful and the land just looks like it goes on forever. Looks like a great place to live!
I love them both. I like the color because you can see the red barn but the black and white looks nostlagic.
Hi Rob,
Love the colored one on this shot with that red barn! Thanks for sharing!
I see a highway encroaching on a great barn who has seen a lot more in years then you or I will. Just cross your fingers in hope they don't want to widen that roadway any time in the future.
Thanks for stopping by ....I hope you all have a great day!
Rob,
Both are good. The b;lack and whote could use a little more highlights on the building. :)

Steve ....I thought the same thing ...Thanks!
