Black Friday is gone! But, if you're like me, you probably still have some holiday shopping left to do. Whether you're on the hunt for smaller items like toys and clothing, big-ticket items like a flat screen television, a new vehicle, or perhaps a plane ticket home to see your loved ones, the following tips will hopefully help you save some money on your last-minute holiday shopping. 

Tips for Buying Clothing: You can find lots of holiday sales at this time of year that make last-minute shopping a little easier on your wallet. But planning and timing your trip to your favorite mall or shopping center is extremely important. The best deals have been picked over already come the weekend.  The best deals, special promotions and best selection are best realized by Thursday evenings. Plus you won't have to face the massive crowds... I know it's nearly impossible for many people to get thier shopping in dring the week, but if you can, it's well worth it!

Tips for Buying Toys, Electronics, Jewelry, and Even Groceries: Now for this one, I don't suggest hitting the stores during the week. I don't suggest hitting the stores at all! Some of the best deals out there don't require you leaving your chair... So whether you're looking for a Dance With Me Elmo toy, an iPad, a watch or even the groceries you need for that holiday dinner, start out by shopping online first. Check out Coupons.com and CouponMom.com, where you can save money by printing coupons on the items you want. 

Tips for Buying Airplane Tickets: Let's face it... Holiday travel is so expensive! But it wouldn't be the holidays with out friends and family nearby. We all know enough by know to search for cheap airfare on sites like Orbitz.com, Priceline.com, and HotWire.com. But did you know that there are specific times to look on these sites to get the best deals? Insider Tip: your best chance for saving is Wednesday morning. When airlines introduce their savings over the weekend / during the first few days of the week, subtle price wars begin. By early Wednesday, the savings have usually met their peak...and there are still plenty of empty seats left for you to jump on. And keep in mind, the more flexible you can be on your travel dates, the better chance you have of getting a great deal.

So the major tip to take away from this is there are still plenty of deals out there you just have to look. Feel the joy and the warmth in your heart and it will be a stress-free holiday season, or as stress-free as it can be...
