I believe strongly in goals.  So important to have them, and to write them down and look at them periodically.  Every year my daughter sit down together, before the first of the year and write our personal and family goals together.  It's a great exercise.

Good Morning Michael, You prove your mastery and understanding of how to compose the best shot of a flower. While most shoot down, you bring it to eye level which is the better way of creating the photos. Beautifully done. I carry a spray bottle of water around when shooting flowers to give that great dew drop look. Love it and masterfully done. 

PS, I didn't mean to not comment about the goal setting aspect which is spot on but I was so taken with the flower, I wanted to acknowledge your mastery.

This is a great perspective Michael on the importance of setting proper goals! 

Michael - I couldn't agree more and have applied this philosophy to many aspects of my life. When I went back to collage as an adult, I said I was going to get all A's. I am horrible at Math so I left it for last. By that time I had a 4.0 which gave me a lot of motivation to get through algebra, statistics and calculus. I had to study 3 times more than the average person, but I pulled it off with sheer determination. I got a tutor, studied for hours and relentlessly practiced until I understood it. I did graduate with a 4.0 and there where only 2 others in a class of 1600! I believe we can achieve anything we want...............if we want it bad enough and are willing to work for it! GOOD MORNING MICHAEL!  It took me a long time to get past that gorgeous photo to read what you had to say - I do believe!  People prevail and succeed against all odds all the time -why not be one of them!

Michael - a goal here, a goal there, everywhere we have goals, if only we could stop that phone from ringing, we could get them all done.
