How to Get Your Blog Featured on AR!?!?!

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Summers/East Coast Realty Group

As summer turned to fall (hard to tell here in NOLA), I once again decided to refocus some of my energies into boosting my online presence and putting more work into my blogs.  I am continually posting.  And, I also enjoy commenting on featured blogs on AR, there are some truly insightful bloggers out there who share their knowledge and experiences with us daily.  Although I am very interested on all of the real estate content blogs, I also carefully read the blogs about blogging itself.

I would now like for the Active Rain community help me out as a community, and to give me some feedback and insight into the "art of being featured".  For exposure purposes, and out of a little bit of ego I admit, I am always hopeful that one of my posts will be featured, and people across the country and globe will be emailed a link to my blog.  By the way, congrats to all of the bloggers who have been featured, as I know it is not that easy.

So, Active Rain experts, please comment and leave feedback and recommendations on how to have your blog featured on AR.  I am excited to hear what you have to say, so please don't hold back any of your trade secrets.

Thanks, and a happy holiday season to all!

Hi Brett, I am not the expert you are looking for, but have subscribed to your blog because it sounds like we have similar styles with AR.  I hope you get some positive responses, and look forward to reading them. Thanks, Colin

Liz and Bill,

Muffaletta is on it's way, LOL!  But if you are really nice to me I will include a King Cake from Rendazzo's and some beignets from Cafe Du Monde as well.  Yummy.

MMMMMM :)   Brett, didn't get down to N.O. often, but spent 6th grade-after high school in Leesville over by Ft. Polk.  I don't think I've been back to The Big Easy since 1980, so a long time between sandwiches :)  Bill

Well you should definitely visit my wonderful city soon.  Just hop on one of those old river paddle boats from Ohio.  You should be here in a couple of days, and you might see Huck Finn along the way, lol.  NOLA has gotten so much better, and all of the old traditional favorites are still here.  All joking aside, if you ever do decide to make a trip down here, I can give you a list of recommendations as long as the Mississippi River itself, and I would be happy to do it.

Brett, It's on my list of things to do some day!  Liz has never been there, I'm sure she'd enjoy it.  One of my best memories from high school is sitting on a park bench in Jackson Square enjoying Central Grocery's best!
