Santa Claus is Coming to Active Rain....New December Challenge....Reposted

Our original post fell off the blog roll and we wanted you to still be able to reference the information so we are reposting  it here!   If you need any information from the original post please click here!!  

At Last count we have 264 members who have joined the group and are committed to bettering their business in 2012~~~  I think that is incredible...as all of you are!!! 

Again....please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or need anything clarified!!!

How has your 2011 been?  

Did you reach your goals?  

I can say that I did meet my goals...
and even exceeded them...

WHY?  

I really attribute it to a 31 day challege that
we did last year!  

Jennifer really offered a great challenge to keep all of us focused on our business

During December it is really easy to get off track....Easy to think that you are taking the holidays off and will get back on track in January...It is easy to quit blogging because "stuff" comes up...so we will
reward you for this challenge!!!

Think about it...haven't we been taught that what we do today is the paycheck next month and the month after?   

So if we take off December ....we may not have a pay check in January or even February!   GULP!!!

So the 31 Day Challenge for December is very simple...

It will be modeled after the Challenge we did last December...

Every single day of the month you must do some thing to promote your business...

or do something that will make you successful in 2012

This can be phone calls to clients, expireds, FSBO's

A text or hand written note...or even an email

It can also be a blog....now a blog writing about what you did for this challenge isn't really the type of blog post we are looking for....We are looking for blogs on localism, market reports, info on real estate....
that sort of a blog post...

5 days a week you will write a recap blog post on what you did each day...these may be a bit dry but they are important for tracking purposes....and many of us enjoy reading what you are doing so that we might pick up and idea or two!! 

I personally found it easier to write it in  a blog every single day...

All of this is based on the honor system....so if you report that you did it....then make sure you really did....

You don't have to write  a novel...just a few short lines....

Lets have fun with this and make 2012 the best Real Estate Year ever!!!  

Oh Almost forgot the important stuff....for completing this blog challenge you will receive 5000 points

So let me recap for you:

1.   Do something for your business to make you money and successful in 2012 every single day in December

2.   Report in a blog back to us what you did.....you may group days together in your blog, however you must post at least 5 times a week what you did daily.  

3.   Your blog headline stating what you did every day should include 2011 December Blogging Challenge

4.   You don't have to but it is nice if you post your blog to the group

5.   After the challenge is over you must email Kerrie G at Active Rain that you completed the challenge.
