The Nutcracker Suite

The musical and dance talent in children today is so amazing to me. In a big city like San Diego it is not so much of a surprise as it is making sure to discover and support all this amazing talent that abounds in our wonderful communities.

This young lady dances with such skill and grace, it is difficult to keep in my mind that she is still a teenager. The entire cast was spectacular in the production. The Nutcracker Suite is a holiday favorite that one never tires of. The music and dance of youngsters in San Diego is very much alive and well and how fortunate we are to be able to provide a sound future to the theatrical arts.

My 2 youngest daughters were dancers. In fact my youngest continues to dance to this day. A granddaughter has danced in the Nutcracker up in Reno for several years. I remember watching her as one of Mother Marshmallow's children. The Nutcracker is a Christmas tradition for many members of my family. I love the photo you captured, William!
