We just had 3 consequetive days of rain. Good, right? Yes, very good, as we're in a horrible drought here in Austin TX. However, I'm very disappointed. Before the rain started, we were at 626.36 feet in Lake Travis. Three days later, we're only at 626.74 feet.
I expected it to be up a heck of a lot more than that. We're trying to move up from the third lowest water levels in history. I know the ground needs a lot of water, and much of it got soaked in, but I expected more run-off and also more of the water flowing down from the NorthWest areas.
Maybe as the grounds get more saturated, there will still be more run-off, but at this time, the rain has stopped for the rest of the week's forcast.
