The Estates of Brentwood was first developed in the late 1990's with 2 quality home builders, Morrison Homes (now known as Taylor/Morrison) and D R Horton. This small but exciting community is located in NW Austin, south of Anderson Mill Rd. near Hwy 620. It's situated just above the Laural Canyon Community.
Residents enjoy a private park with 100 year old majestic oaks. The homeowners association maintains the park 
which connects to the lower end of Monet Drive and overlooks a natural protected spring. Many homeowners are drawn to this small community (only 92 homes) because of the excellent schools in the Round Rock School District, including nearby Spicewood Elementary which hosts an International Baccalaureate Primary Years program, Canyon Vista Middle School and Westwood HS (boasting #47 in the nation in 2011).
There is easy access for golf, restaurants, churches, major highways, employers, Lake Travis, Lakeline Mall, the Cedar Park Farmers Market, only 15 minutes to the Domain or the Arboretum and 25 minutes to downtown Austin!
The design of the neighborhood is child friendly with many cul-de-sacs and tree-lined streets. It's a place to call home!
In the year 2010 there were only 4 homes that sold. In 2011 there was a 50% increase! The average sold price was down 7.9% but that was because 2 out 6 homes sold were foreclosure homes skewing the numbers. The days on market went down 6.4%. However if you take out the 2 foreclosed properties the average days on market to sell was only 8 days!
