PATCHOGUE'S CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE

Just in time for the season, I found this beautiful and professionally made video of the Christmas Boat Parade held annually on the Patchogue River. This video is from a couple of years ago, but this year's Main Street and River Parades were, recently, held and enjoyed by the town residents and other folks from around the County. Once again, Patchogue does a wonderful job!

Jill - one of the the joys of living in a warm climate and on water are the various things to be seen and done year round. Patchogue sounds like a great place to live.

I think our first Christmas boat parade is this Saturday. We have four of them during the next three weekends.

Good example of what can be done with video - This could have been done by most anybody with a tripod and camera and a few simple edits - we also have a Christmas Ship Parade this month on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. I had to bail out at 3:00 though.

Ellen - I like the lights on the water at night.

Kathy - We don't exactly have a warm climate but we do have water.

Eric - I guess you can always tell by the type of festivities who lives next to water.
