Christmas Caroling on the San Antonio, Texas riverwalk

I have fond memories of Christmas Caroling as a child.  My sister's and I would go around our neighborhood & sing our favorite songs.  From "Rudolph the red nosed reindeer" to "O' Christmas Tree".  We would walk from door to door & just have a blast!  I don't think we were any good but we had a ton of fun doing it.  I can't even remember the last time Christmas Caroler's came to my door, how sad! BUT, if you are looking for the joyous sounds of carolers I've found the perfect spot for you!

The San Antonio Riverwalk has caroler's!  From November 26 all the way until December 18th.  They sing out loud & proud from 6:30 pm to 9:30 PM.  Know what the best part of these caroler's are?  They are on a boat! How cool is that? 

Walk along the Riverwalk, grab some dinner or just a drink & listen to the joyous sounds of over 185 schools, churchs, company & civic choral groups on cruising boats!

Hi Kristin! I attended this on the 26 while it was cold but not rainy. It was very nice. Heads up! Get there by 5:30 or plan on not eating. We arrived at 6:30 and the average restaurants had a one hour wait, the great ones either quit taking names or had 2 hour waits! We ended up at Lone Stat on the balcony. We had a nice time!!!

Going to see Christmas Carolers on the San Antonio River Walk is a special thing to do!  I never went Caroling as I didn't want to get beat up, lol :)!

Hi Kristin. Looks like our San Antonio River is going to be full of things to do with the addition of the Christmas Caroling. I want to see if I can get downtown to see some of these carolers myself soon.

The San Antonio River walk is very beautiful.  Christmas with all the lights is the best time to stroll the River walk. We'll have to plan a visit before the year ends.

Kristin...I have been telling Manuel we need to get the kids down to the River!  I was just thinking about the lights...hadn't even thought about the carolers =) Thanks for the reminder!!
