My husband and I decided to take a weekend off and take a quick trip to Las Vegas to show our exchange student the lights.  We did not even leave until Saturday at 11:00 am.  By 3:00 pm I had 3 buyers that I have been working with all of a sudden decide they wanted to see homes!

Needless to say - I was not about to turn the call around just to show a few homes - but why does it seem that the minute you are not available you become in demand??

Special moments with my family are very important to me.  Making money is great - but if you are always busy working you miss out on great moments like this ....

You're so right!  Special moments are worth their weight in GOLD!  You could never recapture it if you tried! 

I use the 1,000 mile rule when I go on vacation!  What would you do if I'm not there?  Do it!

 There needs to be balance to make life sweet and memorable.

Amen!  If I decide to go out of town, it's dead certain someone will call with an urgent request to look at property or write an offer.  And on rare occasions when it was necessary, I've turned around and headed home.
